yo this rocks, but could you add a key rebinding option? im on a laptop so i dont have a scroll button, my little guys are stuck on that punching bag for eternity 😔
I had two minor issues, but given thet scope of the game they're not big deals.
1. There isn't really a point to upgrading nests, since it's more efficient to just buy a new one and by the time the space they take up would be an issue you can just afford to delete them. If you plan on expanding this or anything I'd reccomend having nests be unlimited and make upgrading them be more expensive but let you buy higher level creatures for a higher price.
2. I'm not sure what upgrading ATMs does, if anything at all.
Glad you had fun, thanks for your feedback. I'll be addressing the upgradable Nests. The ATM's increase the value of any coin it collects. I'll look into conveying that somehow.
I did hit a bug though.. not sure how to repro it either.
eventually I moved some little dudes away from a crystal but the the crystal still said that some of them were there when they weren't, and then I couldn't put anyone on that crystal.. later I made and upgraded a few more crystals but when I tried to put the little dudes on those new crystals they wouldn't be assigned. like I could still click on stuff and the little dudes followed me but they wouldn't let me assign them to anything halting the game completely.. was having a bunch of fun up to that point.
Though I will say that when I was on the road to 1Mil things got pretty choppy. so that may have been the cause for the other bugs. I was playing on the web build, so maybe the exe is better about this
Thanks for the detailed report. Glad you were able to have some fun before that bug appeared. I'll be trying to figure out what happened and work on a fix. Thanks again.
Thanks for the info. I noticed that HUD too. Working on a handful fixes now. The HUD bug from level up was a simple issue where new creatures were auto assigned to follower list and also removed without updating the HUD. No big deal.
The big game breaking bug looks to be an issue where the lists of creatures are not updating properly, and creatures that should be followers are assigned to an object, or creatures that should be assigned to an object are listed as followers.
An easy way to recreate the problem is to rapidly whistle a group of creatures while clicking a crystal or training bag.
very cool! I've been into idle/clicker games since playing Pilot Quest on UFO50 (was that the inspiration for the crystal??)
Two little bugs I've found: -sometimes it will say x/10 creatures are assigned to a training bag/training rock, like 9/10 but there's only one creature there. I guess it isn't keeping track of what's assigned/unassigned
-I'm unable to assign any creatures to a location underneath the score/rate UI.
Thank you. Never played UFO50 so no... I think crystals are just an easy to use for just about anything, especially when you're not sure what to use lol. See some of my other games, Toy Cavers, Wizard Recurse 2.
Thanks for your detailed report... I'll be trying to stomp out those game breaking bugs by the end of the weekend, wish me luck! :)

Thanks. Custom binds is kind of complicated but I can add alternatives like keyboard keys.
destroying anything with creatures around it simply deletes the creatures with it, you have to make sure you called them first or else you lose them
Skill issue 😅
skill issue on your part lol
🤣
12/3/24 Patch should fix all the reported bugs, includes some new features, and small balance changes.
Very fun little idler.

Those aside, great little game

I love the game and the SFX <3
I do think the $ per sec should not drop when you spend $.
Thanks! Good point about the $ per sec. I'll see if I can patch that.
This is a lot of fun! Great work on the design!

Hope this helps to find the issue!

I ran into the same bug. The problem seems to be with units levelling up. Often when a unit levels up, the idle worker count goes up.
I'm guessing the unit gets replaced with an upgraded version, but the old version isn't completely disposed.
I think the reason you can't assign units when this happens, is the game is trying to assign a unit that doesn't exist.
The steps to reproduce seem to be to let a bunch of units level up, and then try and move them around.
Hope that helps

Cool! But bug with picked up creature ruin mid-game a bit.
Thanks. Sorry about the bug.
looks cool
Thanks! :)
