at the top, there is a room to the left. containing grey vines and a spinny thing.
in there you gotta spin with l ans usual and then press j to launch yourself forward, destroying grey blocks in that way. but dont orry, after that it is literally jsut 2 more screens to the trophy and the end of the demo, so you didnt miss much :-)
This is a genuinely innovative platformer. Tight and unique movement. The upgrades feel purposeful and unique (not just "+1 stats"). Dinosaur clearly inspired by yoshi, but elevated to a superior level which is exactly how inspiration should be.
In the room with the berry, I (you already know what i'm about to say) jumped off of Fohh while moving, pressed the button with the human character, then used the magic saddle and saved.
How does your character controller work? Is it a kinematic rigid body 2d attached to it and you move it by force or manually? And how do you detect collisions.
First, i jump off of Fohh while moving so he runs to the button and i get some height so i can get the magic saddle, then at the whistle chest, i jump off of Fohh while moving so he runs through the chest (Fohh can't open chests), then i use the magic saddle. Then, at the laser puzzle, i, you guessed it, jump off of Fohh while moving so that he goes through the laser, then i use the magic saddle.
If you hold i, you'll aim diagonally up, and if you press down, you'll aim diagonally down. This is useful for if you don't wanna run into an enemy while shooting it.

Too bad this is just a demo cause it has potential. Though the grappling hook upgrade might take some time to get used to cause it's hard to aim.
Regardless did finish this demo.
I had a lot of fun with the game, it has a lot of potential, I just didn't understand what to do in this part
I beat the second boss, I even managed to climb it by spinning, but when I got to the top, everything was locked.
Is that the end of the game?

Excellent game. Very polished. Would love to see LOTS more.
I'm hardlocked (aka softlocked but even resetting won't fix it)There's a wall here, and this way is the only way to progress.
Im guessing you locked the door then respawned?

HOw did you gather a following?
I just make games.
How do you handle moving platforms?
Parent player to object.
Hi,
How does your character controller work? Is it a kinematic rigid body 2d attached to it and you move it by force or manually? And how do you detect collisions.
Thank you
Dynamic rigid body, set the velocity as needed. Physical collisions are 1 box, and things like enemies and bullets are a "trigger" box.
I'm softlocked! I don't have the whistle.
How did you bypass the whistle chest?

Yep i see, you deliberately bypassed the chest lol, thanks for sharing!
Superb.
I really didn't like how awkward the slingshot felt but it was short and not punishing, so I managed it.
Fohh is best boy. I love all the mechanics and puzzle solving.
Not sure what "aim"/i was for.
I look forward to the full game.

Thank you. Aim is good for certain encounters, you don't need to run and shoot to aim diagonally.
A very interesting game, a lot of mechanics, I'm waiting for the full release!
Thanks!
Love this game and can't wait for the full release!
Thank you! :)
